Great stories don’t come from staying home.  Travel well and with confidence.  Share your amazing experiences. 

Any trip has lots of logistics: transportation, accommodations, and finding unique experiences beyond the tourist traps.  I help you navigate the process by first getting to know you and understand what you would like to see and do – and then figure out how to fit that into your budget.  With your itinerary in place, I even book it for you.

While many people think they can “get a better deal” by doing it themselves, google searches and booking websites, only let you see what everyone else sees (with prices to match!)  I work directly with travel partners and flight consolidators, to give you options that software algorithms can’t.  Your time is precious; let me do the time-consuming research to create travel solutions that will fit your vacation vision.

Scotland

First travelling to Scotland at 6 months old and regularly over the last 40 (plus!) years, it’s near and dear to my heart.  I’d love for you to enjoy some of the experiences I’ve had, like:

  • Outlander filming locations
  • Whisky distilleries
  • Castles & history
  • The jaw-dropping natural beauty of the highlands, lowlands, lochs and islands of Scotland

Family travel & groups

I love seeing families and friends connecting in new ways by travelling together – especially multigenerational travel groups.  I enjoy travelling with my children, my parents and my siblings to celebrate special events and milestones in our lives. Consider a family or group trip:

  • Small-group tours, with something for everyone
  • Intimate Outlander tours of Scotland
  • Renting a car or van and driving yourself
  • Home-away-from-home stays with kitchens – like farmhouses and even castles

River Cruising

While ocean cruising is very popular, river cruising is a more intimate and personal way to see the world’s greatest rivers and local experience.

  • Avalon Waterways have excellent river cruises – so I became an Avalon Waterways Specialist (I like their river cruises that much!)
  • G Adventures has smaller and more adventurous river cruises if you’re looking for something different. You’ve never seen river cruising like this!

We have done a fair bit of travel, and this turned out to be one of our best trips ever. Tammie asked us questions in order to understand our likes and dislikes, then she translated that into a fantastic trip, within our budget, that we would never have been able to design on our own.

Tammie did all the bookings for our three-week adventure – flights, accommodations, trains, buses, and excursions. She provided a back-up plan for a small part of the trip, just in case bad weather disrupted travel to one of the islands. She was frequently in touch during planning and booking to get our feedback on different options. We will definitely ask her to help us with upcoming travel!
