This unique trip will take you from Edinburgh’s Old Town to farmhouse cheesemakers in St. Andrews, traditional fish & chips in Anstruther, Arbroath Smokies on the beach at Auchmithie, dining on the first class train through the the Cairngorms National Park, coastal foraging, dinner at Inverlochy Castle, the jaw-dropping scenery of Glen Coe, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park … and of course, haggis on a working sheep farm!
Scotland’s green and rugged landscape provides the natural ingredients for quality (and diverse) food experiences – so sample the food and the scenery.

Day 1:
Arrival at Glasgow Airport Transfer from Glasgow Airport. 2 Hour Panoramic Bus Tour of Glasgow with your group .

Day 2:
Glasgow Foodie Walking Tour (included). Head to the capital city of Edinburgh. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town on the Royal Mile, Colonnades at the Signet Library is the perfect place for ‘Edinburgh’s finest afternoon tea’ at 5:00 PM (included). This evening explore the darker side of Edinburgh with an Evening of Ghosts and Ghouls (included).

Day 3:
This morning, enjoy some free time to explore Edinburgh on your own. Walk the cobblestones of the Royal Mile exploring the historic closes, shopping, visiting Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Whisky Experience, the Real Mary King’s Close, St. Giles Cathedral, or board the Hop On Hop Off bus … just to name a few of the many things you can do in this charming city.
Early afternoon, prepare to travel to Fife where you will stop for lunch at the St. Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company. Watch the cheese making process from their purpose built viewing gallery within the coffee shop on the farm. And of course no visit is complete without sampling their cheese collection with an included cheese platter for the group. In Anstruther pick up traditional fish and chips at the award winning Anstruther Fish Bar for your dinner tonight. (included)

Day 4:
Continue your adventure today travelling along the beautiful Fife coastline with a stop in famous St. Andrews to visit their castle and cathedral (included). A special treat awaits for the group on the beach at Auchmithie where we can have the Arbroath Smokie experience with Ian. See the traditional smoking method and each person gets to enjoy their own fish once completed. (included)

Day 5:
Head into the Cairngorms National Park with stops at The Highland Folk Museum and Ruthven Barracks. Experience a First Class Light Luncheon service consisting of a lovely selection of sandwiches and a warm bowl of soup, freshly prepared on board by our catering chef and enjoyed in a first class train compartment as you travel through the beautiful Cairngorms (included). Continue your journey to Inverness stopping briefly at Clava Cairns, a well-preserved Bronze Age cemetery. This evening, enjoy a croft family dining experience – a Scottish crofting family warmly welcomes you into their home and farm to sample some real Scottish food and hospitality (included).

Day 6:
Make your way out of Inverness driving along the famous Loch Ness looking for the elusive loch monster Nessie!
Stop for any photo ops along the way perhaps at the Commando Memorial.
Continuing through Fort William to arrive on time for your unique experience this afternoon on the west coast in Roshven, Lochailort. A private half day bushcraft experience awaits for your small group that would include as an example being taken on a Scottish island survival adventure including coastal foraging – shellfish, fish and seaweed, learning about trees, plants and fungi, their uses in bushcraft, what you can and can’t eat! Build a campfire and cook your lunch on a quiet sandy beach looking out across the loch to the small isles (included). From foraging by day to eating dinner in Inverlochy Castle this evening (included) is a true foodie adventure.

Day 7:
Begin your early journey through the atmospheric Glencoe where jaw dropping scenery will make you want to stop and take photos all along the way. Through the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
A unique, entertaining, and insightful introduction to haggis, Scotland’s National Dish happens on a centrally located working sheep farm. Discover how world famous haggis is made, cooked and traditionally presented as well as new diverse contemporary interpretations of this delicious and surprisingly versatile dish. Then more importantly, sample the great taste of haggis with tatties and neeps for lunch – Vegetarian/Vegan Haggis available as well (included).
Loch Katrine is one of Scotland’s bonniest lochs and a trip to Scotland & The Trossachs would not be complete without seeing it and taking a sail on the loch on the iconic SS Sir Walter Scott, which has been providing sailing trips on the loch since 1900 and still powered by steam (included).
